Curated Art Workshops at FICCI Virasat 2022 - Phad, Warli and Pattachitra

As an associate partner, RAF curated three exclusive art workshops, featuring acclaimed artists such as National Award-winning Phad artist Kalyan Joshi, renowned Warli artist Anil Wangad, and skilled Pattachitra artist Prashanta Mahrana. With a turnout of over 300 enthusiastic participants, these workshops served as an interactive platform for attendees to delve into India’s traditional art forms and experience firsthand the skill and heritage these crafts represent.

Heritage Art at the Forefront

Rooftop Arts Foundation’s aim was to offer these master artisans a prestigious platform to showcase their work, promote cultural exchange, and reinforce the importance of preserving these art forms in today’s fast-changing world. By engaging the public in the creation process, RAF reaffirmed its commitment to making traditional art more accessible and bridging the gap between communities and artists.
